Symptoms

When Enable DMARC on this account. is disabled for an account (via creation or Modify Account), and Enable DMARC on domains for newly created accounts [?] is disabled in WHM, addon domains for an account still use the default policy "v=DMARC1\; p=none\;"

 

Description

Zone templates are being overridden with the default DMARC policy record.

We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-46365. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product. 

 

Workaround

The DMARC record can be modified or removed as needed after the domain is added. More information can be found here:
